With WasteX's solution, agricultural expertise and ongoing operational support, we are now able to offer biochar to our rice farmers and improve their livelihoods. We also wish to make rice farming a more profitable occupation to attract the younger generation to it.

Managing corn cob waste has its challenges. We usually sell it as fuel and planting media, but oftentimes it quickly rots and hard to sell. However, by working with WasteX, these corn cobs can be processed into high-value biochar, which is useful as a soil fertility enhancer. We hope that this facility and the biochar produced can be beneficial for local corn farmers with poor soil and having difficulties acquiring fertilizers, and help improve their welfare.
