Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions

• Check and validate component dimensions and product specifications

• Supervise machinist and welder to ensure safe, efficient, and timely fabrication activities

• Operate various fabrication equipment such as welding machine (MIG & Arc), milling machine, lathe machine, drill press, CNC plasma cutter, sheet metal roller, angle grinder, belt sander, etc.

• Provide daily reports of fabrication status to the manufacturing manager

• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues and challenges, escalating them as necessary to the manufacturing manager

• Troubleshoot issues with the fabrication equipment

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety protocols at all times

• Other duties that may be assigned by the manufacturing manager

Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in a machine shop, preferably with a background in supervising staff

• Knowledge of welding, machining, and other fabrication activities is a must

• Can read and interpret technical drawings

• Certification in machining and welding is preferred but not required

• Working experience in the fabrication of equipment for  high-temperature applications such as kilns, ovens, etc. is preferred but not required

• Ability to follow instructions

• Can work with minimal supervision

• Physical strength and endurance

• Having a trustworthy character is a must

• At least a high school graduate

• Good communication skills both verbal and written

Offer

• Monthly salary up to PHP 25,000 to 30,000 depending on experience
